Constant judgments, never being good enough, and high expectations. Sound familiar? These are some values driving that self-critical voice that is always on. This was the theme I saw across my clientele yesterday. The inner critic has been in the making for years now, and is part of us. There are ways to regulate this voice in the form of balancing one criticism with three positive aspects in any experience or given situation. Can you identify one challenge and three positive aspects within a given experience/situation or performance of your choice? If you are interested in working more on the inner-critic that is part of you and not the whole you, I'd be happy to talk more with you.
