The path of integrating mindfulness and the dialectic of every day life, addressing the deceivingly simple application of the what and how skills of mindfulness, and the gift of drawing on each other's strengths and presence is one way of looking at the power of group therapy. I just wrapped up facilitating two mindfulness groups and can appreciate the power of each other's presence, the vulnerability, and strengths that can hold each other's struggles mindfully. It reiterated the power of intentional attention, awareness, and a present focused relationship with the ever arising thoughts, feelings and sensations. It reminds me of making an intentional choice about reconnecting with the present landscape within and without.
